Did you spend the last weeks of 2021 reflecting — thinking about all the things you should’ve, could’ve or would’ve done? Did you feel a bit of regret or even frustration because things you set out to do didn’t quite unfold the way you hoped? Are you now overthinking and over-planning for 2022? I’m here to tell you that it’s perfectly fine to feel all of that. I promise you are not alone. However, it’s now time to fearlessly move out of that place of stagnation.
My prayer going into 2022 was that I would no longer walk in fear. I had to position my mind to stop thinking about it and stop procrastinating by planning and over-planning. I even had to stop asking God for a sign. My prayers sounded something like, “God is this your will?” “God if this isn’t for me, tell me-show me.” That’s the equivalent of someone giving you a gift you asked for, and then you asking that person over and over and over, “are you sure.” If God said yes the first time, why would He keep needing to confirm it. It’s up to us to receive it in confidence. In fact, here’s something for you to ponder on. Your sign was when the idea entered your thinking. Pause and think about that!

You may never have all your ducks in a row. Everything doesn’t have to be perfectly aligned for “It” (whatever your “It” is) to work. You may be missing a few elements, but no one will know unless you tell them. And, you shouldn’t be revealing your plans to people anyway. A lot of people are praying on you opposed to for you. Stop waiting until you’re financially stable to start. This change that you’ve been praying, fasting and seeking God about may be the very thing that’s going to bring you financial stability and over abundance.
Grab ahold of Galatians 6:9 that reads, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” What stands out for me is the “if we faint not.” That part! In other words, your harvest, your blessings, your abundance isn’t tied to a timeline. It’s connected to your consistency. It’s positioned with your persistence. It’s aligned with your unwavering will to not give up. The Bible instructs us to “…be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
Remember—“The work of the Lord,” is not necessarily or always within the walls of the church. It’s how you use what God has given you to draw others to Him. With that, stop second guessing yourself. You got this. Be fearless with your next move!
